My name is Janine Bucklaschuk and I currently reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.  I work for an organization called Opportunities for Employment, which is a non-profit organization that offers employment services and partnerships with other companies and organizations.  I work as a facilitator for Occupational-Specific Essential Skills and Employability Skills training, which are workshops that help prepare learners for work.  I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a double minor in Biological Sciences and Microbiology, and recently completed a Certificate in Adult and Continuing Education (CACE) at the University of Manitoba.  I am currently completing my TESL at the University of Manitoba, as well as a Master's of Education in Curriculum Studies in the University of New Brunswick and a Curriculum Development and Instructional Design Extension Certificate from Mount Royal University.  My goal is to develop effective training programs for learners with a wide range of learning barriers, which includes cultural and language barriers.  My goal is to acquire the necessary skills to effectively address learning barriers for English language learners.
